Privacy Notice

Effective date: 1 November 2026

Who controls your data

SkydocPlus provides SkyMinning and acts as the data controller for personal data processed to operate the game and required player accounts. Paddle separately handles payment data for orders it processes as Merchant of Record under its own privacy notice.

Data we collect and why

  • Account information: email address, display name, account identifier, verification status and securely managed login credentials, to create accounts, sign you in and recover access. The legal basis is performance of our agreement with you.
  • World copies: world names, seeds, game state and save timestamps when you choose to copy a local world into your account, to store and restore your private copies. The legal basis is contract performance. Local worlds and game settings otherwise remain in your browser.
  • Purchase and access records: order references, product identifiers, payment status and granted entitlements, to maintain purchased or complimentary access, handle disputes and meet accounting obligations. Legal bases are contract performance and legal obligations.
  • Technical data: IP address, device/browser information and error, security and service logs, to deliver the game, diagnose failures and prevent abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a reliable and secure service.
  • Support communications: information you provide in a support or purchase inquiry, to respond and resolve the issue. Legal bases are contract performance or our legitimate interest in supporting users, as applicable.

A verified email account and login are required for all gameplay. Pricing and policy pages are accessible without an account. We do not use account information for marketing without an appropriate legal basis and any consent required by law.

Who receives data

We share data only as necessary with hosting, account authentication, cloud storage and operational support providers, including Lovable Cloud; Paddle for sales, subscription management where applicable to its services, payments, tax compliance and invoicing; professional legal and accounting advisers; and authorities where required by law. SkyMinning itself does not currently sell subscriptions. Google Fonts receives connection information such as your IP address when the site loads its fonts. We do not sell your personal data.

Retention

Account information and account world copies are kept while needed to provide your account and resolve related requests. Purchase and security records may be retained longer where required for legal obligations, fraud prevention or disputes. Data is deleted or anonymised when no longer necessary, subject to required retention and routine backup expiry. No automatic fixed-period world deletion is currently promised. Local saves remain until you delete them or clear browser storage.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability or object to processing, and withdraw consent where processing relies on it. You may complain to your local data protection authority. Where UK/EEA law applies, we respond to rights requests within one month, subject to lawful extensions. Update your display name in your account; local worlds can be exported or deleted in the game. Clearing browser storage deletes local settings and saves, but does not delete account copies.

For an order-related inquiry or to reach the seller using the contact details on your receipt, visit paddle.net. For other questions about your data or this notice, email skyminningpolicy@gmail.com. Requests concerning Paddle’s independently controlled data should be directed to Paddle.

Security and international processing

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, authenticated access and owner-scoped access controls for account copies. No online service is completely secure. Providers may process data outside your country. Where UK/EEA transfer rules apply, transfers must use appropriate safeguards such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, as applicable.

Cookies and browser storage

Essential session storage is used for sign-in and recovery. Local browser storage holds game settings and saved worlds. These are needed for the features you choose. No optional analytics or marketing cookies are added by the game. You can manage cookies and storage through your browser settings; blocking essential storage can prevent sign-in or saving, and clearing it can permanently remove local worlds. Export your worlds first.
